A Little History
A little history. It was the summer of '69 and my brother asked me if I wanted to go to a concert upstate.I said yes. I found myself experiencing the reality of peace, of love, music and community at Woodstock. I saw tie dye for the first time and it was everywhere. Beautiful colors and beautiful people.
In the earely 70's I read Rachel Carson's Silent Spring and was motivated a few years later to write an environmental column in my college newspaper and have been focused on it my entire life.
In 2014 I attended the People's Climate March in New York City. It was there that I'd first heard of Veganism. A few months later I watched the first 20 minutes of Earthlings and have been Vegan ever since. Tie Dye Vegan is a result of my experience at Woodstock, the Peace and Love Community, and Veganism.
